Volunteer With Us

Be the Reason a Family Gets Help in Their Moment of Crisis

The Urgent Care EMS Response Team depends on compassionate, dependable volunteers who want to make a real impact right here in West Virginia. When families face emergencies — a fire, job loss, medical crisis, or sudden hardship — our volunteers help us respond quickly, efficiently, and with dignity.

Whether you have one hour a week or a full day to give, your time directly supports families who need immediate help.

How Volunteers Make a Difference

  • Donation Intake & Sorting - Help us check in donated items, organize supplies, and ensure everything is ready for rapid deployment.
  • Filling Emergency Boxes - Assist with packing food boxes, hygiene kits, baby essentials, school supplies, and other emergency items that go directly to families in crisis.
  • Food Pantry Support - Keep our pantry stocked, organized, and ready for families who need immediate assistance.
  • Support Our Delivery Operations - While only trained staff handle emergency deliveries, volunteers play a crucial role behind the scenes preparing the supplies that go out on our 2010 retired school bus — the vehicle that keeps our mission moving.

Why Your Help Matters

Our emergency delivery unit — a 2010 retired school bus — is on the road daily serving families across the state. It costs $250 every time we fill the tank, and volunteers help ensure every trip is stocked with the essentials families urgently need.

Your time helps us stretch resources, respond faster, and reach more people.
