It reflects our commitment to compassion, connection, and ensuring every neighbor feels valued and supported.
Hunting For Hope
Hunting for Hope is a Thanksgiving‑week community outreach initiative led by Urgent Care Emergency Meal Support. This program brings together volunteers of all ages to participate in a coordinated deer hunt, with all donated venison used to prepare a community Dinner for individuals experiencing homelessness and families in need.
Urgent Care Emergency Meal Support plans to expand Hunting for Hope into Nicholas and Fayette Counties, extending the impact of this mission across multiple regions in West Virginia. Each event reflects our commitment to compassion in action — providing nourishment, dignity, and a sense of belonging to those facing hardship.
Through Hunting for Hope, we continue to live out our mission of uplifting communities and reminding every person that Urgent Care Emergency Meal Support is here, we care, and no one is forgotten.
Community Ourtreach
Urgent Care Emergency Meal Support provides compassionate, boots‑on‑the‑ground outreach by meeting people exactly where they are and offering essential resources with dignity and respect. Through our street‑level engagement, we distribute warm meals, hydration, hygiene kits, blankets, coats, socks, and seasonal necessities that help individuals stay safe and comfortable throughout the year.
Our direct outreach allows us to build genuine connections, offer encouragement, and support those experiencing homelessness in their most vulnerable moments. Beyond street outreach, we organize community food drives, host neighborhood resource events, and supply emergency relief kits so families and individuals have immediate access to critical items during difficult times.
Through every act of service, we work to ensure our community feels seen, supported, and never alone.
Youth and Foster Support
Urgent Care Emergency Meal Support is dedicated to uplifting youth and supporting children in foster care by providing essential resources that bring comfort, stability, and confidence. We assemble thoughtful care packages filled with meaningful necessities, ensuring every child feels valued and supported during challenging transitions. Our outreach includes supplying clothing to meet daily needs and providing school essentials that empower students to learn, grow, and succeed. Through each act of care, we affirm that every young person deserves dignity, encouragement, and the opportunity to rise.
